Mary is a key staff member who makes new residents and families feel at home and is usually the first person they meet during the admission process. Brookdale is a fantastic assisted living facility to place a loved one with. They provide many options to fit different care levels, from independent living to higher memory care needs. The staff is outstanding and always accommodating, willing to help and answer questions. Brookdale is an awesome place for a senior to live, offering safety and a sense of dignity.
Brookdale has super poor management. The facility is not a good place for loved ones. They care more about money than proper care. The director was informed but nothing was done. Residents were left in their Depends overnight (from 7:00 PM until 7:00 AM). Shoes were put on the wrong feet. A resident fell at least ten times and ended up in the ER at least six times. There were only two staff at night for 33 residents. There was no one around to help, and it is unclear how long she waited.
