The lady who gave the tour was awesome and provided a wonderful experience for the family. The facility allowed visitors to see the kitchen area and different rooms, which was nice. The administrators were very kind and helpful. The private room shown during the tour was described as very nice. Some aspects of the facility, such as housekeeping, were praised in terms of their quality. The tour experience was described as enjoyable and positive overall.
The higher acuity level of care is not recommended for loved ones in this facility. The staff did not have the capacity to attend to my mother's needs, forcing her to leave the next day after being signed onto hospice. Housekeeping left something to be desired in terms of cleanliness. The quality of meals declined after new owners took over. There were not many activities available for residents. The facility had a revolving door of staff with frequent turnover. The private room, although nice, appeared old and dismal. It seemed like there was not much to do, especially outside where the grounds needed attention during winter months.In-person tours can be a great way to get a feel for a facility, and one family's experience was nothing short of wonderful. The tour guide was described as awesome, providing the family with the opportunity to explore different rooms and even see the kitchen area. However, it was noted that this facility was smaller and pricier compared to others in the area.
