    Review

In-person tours can be a great way to get a feel for a facility, and one family's experience was nothing short of wonderful. The tour guide was described as awesome, providing the family with the opportunity to explore different rooms and even see the kitchen area. However, it was noted that this facility was smaller and pricier compared to others in the area.

Unfortunately, for individuals requiring a higher acuity level, this particular place may not be recommended. After being there for quite some time, the reviewer's mother was abruptly forced onto hospice care, despite having been at the facility for almost seven years. To make matters worse, shortly after signing up for hospice, it was determined that she needed to leave the next day due to staff shortages. This sudden turn of events left the family scrambling to find a new place within just a couple of days. The reviewer also expressed dissatisfaction with housekeeping standards and mentioned that meal quality declined under new ownership.

The lack of activities is another aspect that stood out in one of the reviews. The individual mentioned that there wasn't much offered in terms of engagement or entertainment for residents. It's important to note that this feedback was provided during a period of Covid-19 lockdowns, so it's possible that activity offerings have since improved.

One recurring issue at this facility seems to be staff turnover. Over a span of ten years, there were reportedly at least seven different administrators. This revolving door of leadership may have implications on consistency and communication within the community.

On a positive note, administrators were praised for their kindness and helpfulness. One reviewer mentioned being shown a private room that looked nice but lacked vibrancy due to its older appearance. Additionally, it seemed like more attention could be given to maintaining the outside grounds as they appeared neglected and in need of some tender loving care.

Overall, these reviews highlight both positive and negative aspects of this assisted living/personal care home. It's crucial for future residents and their families to consider their specific needs, such as acuity level requirements and desired activities, before making a decision about this facility. Additionally, it may be worth inquiring about recent changes in ownership and how they have potentially impacted various aspects of the community.
