The family has to follow up on requests to make sure these are taken care of for our loved one. I believe there isn't enough staff due to COVID. The grounds are secure for the residents to enjoy the outdoors, but there is only one meal provided per day by the community. My wife and I moved here because everything was on one level, it was close to her family and they had a fitness center. She died shortly thereafter. Making friends is easy since we are all nearly the same age with common backgrounds. The employees are courteous and friendly and helpful. WWJC did an excellent job getting us through the pandemic, but they also excelled at management of evacuation for Hurricane Ian. Even with the constraints of COVID19 restrictions, the team here keeps us informed and most importantly safe! Westminister is older but very nice, but my mother did not choose it because she cannot see very well.
