The staff at Overlook were very caring and professional. The experience was pleasant. The facility has very friendly, caring staff and clean facilities with ample staffing. The nurses, doctors, and staff are wonderful. The food is delicious. The staff are very caring and attentive; the PT team is very good. The staff provide great care and attention and approach residents with thoughtfulness and professionalism. The resident's family reports happiness with the care. The staff are friendly, attentive, and compassionate, helping residents regain strength for a safe return home. The building is warm, quiet, and clean. The place is very clean and the staff are courteous. Intake care was awesome.
The facility is dirty. Residents do not get the care they deserve. There are too many young CNAs who don't know what it's like to be caring. The way nurses talk about residents is awful. CNAs in rooms have taken pictures of themselves, and residents have been sitting in urine for hours. CNAs do more than any nurse there, implying nursing care is lacking. Having 16 residents to 1 CNA is asinine. It is not a place to send any family. Most of the staff have no bedside manner at all.
