Review

When we visited this community, we were initially impressed by its cleanliness and orderliness. However, as we explored further, we couldn't shake the feeling that the environment was almost too sterile for our liking. While the staff was friendly, we noticed a lack of residents out and about in the common areas, which didn't give off a welcoming or homey feel. Ultimately, we concluded that this community may not be the right fit for our loved one as it seemed too quiet and lacked personality.

On the other hand, my wife had an excellent experience at this community. She required hospice care and they went above and beyond to ensure her comfort. We were confident in the quality of care she was receiving and appreciated how well her needs were taken care of. A Place for Mom provided invaluable assistance throughout this process, with our advisor Katie standing out as exceptional. Overall, it was a great experience for us.

During our visit to another community, we found it to be pleasant and clean. However, we did notice that the hallways leading to the bathroom were a bit cramped. Despite this minor inconvenience, there was assurance that our loved one would have their own bathroom. Additionally, some areas of the floors were not completely level, which could pose a slight problem at times.

The cost of care at this particular community seemed reasonable at $4500 for total care required by Herbert. The cleanliness and friendliness of the facility were apparent during our visit. Although the room he would occupy was somewhat small, it proved to be adequate with an outside patio available for his use. We also appreciated that the home was well equipped for handicapped individuals and had agreements with United Health Care and Molina for health providers. Furthermore, knowing that a nurse would be available when needed gave us peace of mind.

In conclusion, each review provides valuable insights into different aspects of these communities. While one mentions concerns about sterility and lack of resident activity, another highlights excellent care and support from the staff. The cramped hallways and slightly uneven floors were noted in one visit, but it was balanced with the reasonable cost, cleanliness, and friendliness of the facility. Overall, it is evident that finding the right fit for a loved one requires careful consideration of various factors, including environment, care quality, cost, and amenities.
