The community is friendly and caring. The staff are incredibly welcoming, friendly, and genuinely kind. The dining room rivals a 5-star restaurant, and the facility is immaculate and beautifully decorated. Residents look happy and well cared for. Julian Estates is a gem among retirement communities, with warm, dedicated staff and a welcoming, vibrant environment. The management team creates a great atmosphere and delivers excellent care. The facility offers a wide variety of engaging activities that keep residents lively and connected. The staff go above and beyond to make residents and their guests feel welcome and valued.
The management is rude, not helpful, and does not respond quickly to issues in the apartments. They rush residents through breakfast, lunch, and supper so they can clean up. The facility is described as money-hungry and the managers don't seem to care about residents or employees. Julian Estates is no longer the wonderful adult community it was before COVID-19. There are no longer assistant managers, a bus driver, or a maintenance man, and a heat incident displaced residents due to malfunctioning air conditioners. The place is overpriced and transportation is not good.
