Another drawback was the absence of nursing personnel; while emergency services could be summoned as needed through 911 calls, the lack of regular medical oversight left us pondering whether quick assistance would always suffice during critical moments.

We also learned from Lolita that while Medicaid is accepted once private funds deplete, she could facilitate moving grandma into smaller accommodations should such transitions become necessary due to financial constraints or other factors down the line—a reassuring detail as we considered long-term options for Grandma’s care needs.
