In the past three weeks, our experience with BrightStar has been nothing short of great. From the moment we began using their services, it became evident that they were a reliable and efficient agency. The caregiver they assigned to my mother has made a significant impact on her daily life, and I have finally been able to take a much-needed break. Not only has my mom adjusted well to having an aide around, but their relationship has quickly blossomed into something truly special.

What impresses me most is how the caregiver from BrightStar has managed to achieve what I could not in terms of motivating my mother. There are certain tasks and activities that she was previously reluctant to engage in, but with the aid's encouragement and support, she now willingly participates in them. This newfound cooperation is truly remarkable and brings me immense relief knowing that my mom is getting the care she needs.

However, one aspect of our experience with BrightStar was slightly concerning. After signing all the necessary paperwork and confirming our readiness to begin services, we did not hear from the agency at all. It was only when I proactively reached out to them that we were able to establish what steps should be taken next. While this initial lack of communication may have been an oversight or misunderstanding, it would have been reassuring for them to be more proactive in keeping us informed.

When initially choosing BrightStar, I had hoped that their experience with Alzheimer's would be more extensive. Unfortunately, our specific needs related to this condition have not been met as effectively as anticipated. Nonetheless, I understand that this may not entirely be their fault, as each case of Alzheimer's is unique and presents its own challenges. Despite this slight setback, I am optimistic that BrightStar will continue striving towards creating a better caregiving plan tailored specifically for individuals living with Alzheimer's.
