They treat residents with dignity and respect, with staff across all roles willing to help. The health care aides are angels who perform their difficult jobs with care and compassion. The administration, activities, food service, and medical departments are highly commendable; residents feel welcomed and part of the community. The facility is well maintained, very clean, and a comfortable, home-like environment. The activities are well planned and engaging, and the menu is diverse with high-quality meals. The memory care environment is safe and well supervised, allowing residents to stay engaged and cared for. Families report clear communication and attentive care, giving peace of mind.
There is little or no communication to the families any longer. Activities are a thing of the past. They used to stand out as far as activities. Now they just do nothing. This facility used to be outstanding now it is no different than any other facility. They cannot seem to keep good staff. The only problem that I find is that they seem slow to respond to request at this community. The Director is very mean (to her employees also from what I hear) and really doesn't KNOW the residents. Very few people really care about your loved ones like you would like them to. Awful, including senior staff, would NEVER recommend having a loved one placed here.
