When the time came for our family to find someone to help take care of our mother after her discharge from the hospital, it proved to be quite the challenge. We made numerous calls, but it was Interim Health Care that ultimately stepped up and made it happen. From the very first call, they put us at ease and provided us with some incredible caregivers. In the beginning, we required 24-hour care, but as our mother settled in, we only needed assistance while we were at work. The caregiver who became part of our family provided exceptional support. Unfortunately, after four weeks, our mother passed away, but without the help of Interim Health Care, we wouldn't have known what to do. We are forever grateful for their services.

While our experience with Interim Health Care started off promising, it quickly took a turn for the worse. Initially, we were clear about needing consistency in caregiver assignments. They assured us that there would be no problem and that they had people available in our area. However, after just four weeks of service, they informed us that they didn't have anyone nearby and couldn't continue helping us. The first caregiver they sent wasn't suitable for our needs and couldn't stay long-term despite being aware of this beforehand. Although all the caregivers were professional and friendly, the management's lack of professionalism was evident throughout our interactions with them. They even showed up unannounced to evaluate their employee's performance. Moreover, when they called to inform us they could no longer assist us, they gave us very little notice—just hours before a caregiver was scheduled to be there. Overall, this was an extremely unpleasant experience.

Despite encountering these challenges with Interim Health Care's management team, we've been generally satisfied with their service due to their dedicated caregivers and employees. Every aide we interacted with was friendly and helpful throughout their time assisting our loved one. Additionally, their flexibility regarding scheduling has been invaluable since our loved one has irregular medical appointments. We greatly appreciate that Interim Health Care made it possible for our loved one to remain in the comfort of their own home, fulfilling their wish.

Regrettably, our positive experience with Interim Health Care took a turn when they sent us a caregiver who ultimately decided it wasn't the right fit for her after just four days and minimal hours of work each day. Although the caregiver possessed excellent skills, she had been accustomed to providing care for longer durations or full days. While the staff we interacted with were professional, the individual who informed us of the aide's departure failed to mention that she wouldn't be returning.
