Very compassionate and caring staff. Wonderful people, wonderful place. The staff at Country Village cared for our mom with kindness and understanding in the years she lived there, both in Assisted Living and in Memory Care. In her last days, they supported her (and us, her family) with skill and tenderness. Country Village Assisted Living is such a lovely place. The staff are friendly and caring and committed to good care to the residents. Best assisted living facility in town.
The staff could seriously work on their friendliness. Too many incidents without answers. This is not the same reputable memory care home it was several years ago. Terrifying incidents take place. A newly promoted manager, Nina should not be in that position. Nina does not handle stress well and ignores the needs of your loved ones. Please do not place your loved one with Country Village. They should not be trusted with giving medications!!!!Country House in Chico is best suited for families that want a warm, home-like assisted living environment where staff form close, ongoing relationships with residents and family involvement remains central to daily care.
