Review

Getting everything organized was considered a job well done by the caregivers. However, there was one issue - the presence of a baby sitter that my dad didn't particularly enjoy. Despite this, at the community where he stayed, they offered valuable assistance and did their best to provide quality care.

One major preference my mom had was not having any strangers enter our house. Respectfully, my dad agreed to follow her wishes. The decision to use BrightStar home care services was made with cautious consideration, and it proved to be beneficial for our family during that one-week period. Although my dad didn't fully utilize the help available, feeling like he needed to entertain them rather than receiving assistance, I believe the caregivers would have gone above and beyond if given the chance. Ultimately, my parents may not have been fully prepared for this arrangement.

The caregivers' organizational skills were commendable as they tackled various tasks successfully. Despite my dad's discomfort with having a baby sitter around, their efforts in assisting him at the community were greatly appreciated. It's important to note that they genuinely tried their best within the boundaries set by my parents' preferences.

In light of my mom's desire for privacy within our home, BrightStar accommodated her wishes and respected the family's need for limited external involvement. This revealed their professionalism and willingness to adapt their services accordingly. Regrettably, due to my dad's hesitation or perhaps feeling like an imposition on his part, he did not fully take advantage of the extensive support that could have been provided.

When considering our choice of home care service provider, I can confidently say that BrightStar met our expectations in terms of organization and readiness to assist. However, it is clear now that my parents weren't entirely prepared for such an arrangement at that time in their lives. Despite this mismatch in readiness and utilization of services provided, I remain grateful for the effort put forth by BrightStar during the week they were with us.
