The home and most of their staff are phenomenal. The facility is clean, with no odor and a neat environment. The nurses are attentive and go above and beyond to engage the Alzheimer's patients. The staff is pleasant, professional, and eager to make the patients comfortable. The facility has a nice patio and yard area. The director of nursing needs leadership training but the rest of the staff is friendly to families. There are no complaints about the facility itself. The place is clean and pretty to look at but lacks caring and trained people for proper care. Comfort Care Nursing Home is a great place if you can afford a private nurse. Some of the nurses are uncaring and incompetent, but others are wonderful down there.
The management here needs a lot of leadership training. The staff (not all) are very friendly to the families but have noticed once the family member walks off they begin gossiping about them. Until they get more caring and trained people here, I would not recommend this place to anyone.
