The staff and therapists are awesome. The therapy team is amazing. They have worked really hard with her, and she has come a long way. She deeply thanks the staff for all they do. The facility looked really nice and clean. The staff were very nice, helpful, and available whenever needed. The newer side of the building was nice with bigger, updated rooms. They were pleased with the service provided by the staff.
The reviewer noted there were no official parking spaces and had to create a gravel parking lot. The room was small. The room was hot because the air conditioning did not seem to be working. They had to take turns visiting due to the small room. It appeared that the building was undergoing remodeling.On July 18, 2019, a family faced a difficult crossroads. My mother had suffered a stroke and now required round-the-clock care, something my sister and I simply could not provide at home while managing our own work schedules. We began calling around for options and quickly learned that securing a place with 24-hour care could be a challenge. Cottage Lane told us they had beds available, and after researching the facility and reading a mix of reviews, I prayed for guidance. The sense I received was not to dismiss the concerns others had raised, but to judge for myself. In the end, we chose Cottage Lane for my mom. She had lost much of her speech and movement after the stroke, and the possibility of hospice came up, but the staff and therapists there proved to be a source of real hope. My mom began to move her arms again and to speak a few words, and I can honestly say that the dedication of the therapy team and the overall care she received made a meaningful difference.
