Review

During a recent visit to the site, Mel and Suzanne warmly greeted us and made us feel right at home in their beautiful residence. The tour they provided was detailed and informative, offering valuable insights into what sets this place apart from others in the area. While we did find that the prices were slightly higher than other sites we had visited, it quickly became apparent that you truly get what you pay for here.

One of the standout features of this place is the active lifestyle it promotes among its residents. Unlike some of the other sites we had seen, where residents spend their days in front of a television screen, this location offers a variety of engaging activities. This was a breath of fresh air, as it showed us that they truly value the well-being and quality of life for those who choose to reside here.

Mel and Suzanne's personal experience with caring for their parents with Alzheimer's was evident in how they approached providing care at their site. With three levels of care available, they have tailored their services to meet the unique needs of each individual resident. We learned that the care rate is fixed annually but can be adjusted based on changes in the level of care required.

Another important aspect we discovered during our visit was that there is flexibility when it comes to timing for spending down to Medicaid. The mix of residents present helps determine when an individual should consider transitioning to Medicaid coverage. This insight was invaluable as we continue our search for a suitable living arrangement.

Safety is a top priority at this location, as evidenced by rooms being alarmed. Although not locked down, these alarms provide peace of mind knowing that residents are being monitored for their well-being without compromising their freedom or independence.

While overall our experience was positive, one consideration we had was regarding accessibility within the facility itself. In order to reach the living and dining areas, navigating up ramps would be necessary. This could potentially pose challenges for individuals who lack sufficient strength or mobility. Additionally, one reviewer noted that the room they observed was on the smaller side.

Despite these minor concerns, we left feeling impressed with what this site has to offer. The warm welcome we received, along with the excellent tour and detailed information provided by Mel and Suzanne, left a lasting impression. As we continue our search for the perfect place, we will definitely keep an eye out for any future openings at this location.
