Danielle's warm smile and friendly demeanor made the reviewer feel like family. The place is nice and well kept, with plenty of room for the price. Shavon and Liz are professional, kind, and make residents feel at home. The building is very clean inside and out. The grounds with walking paths and a pond behind the building are a sight to see. The staff and management are lovely and friendly. The community is described as a safe, clean place with activities for seniors. There is a chiropractor in the building who treats patients.
The building is run down. Maintenance is sub parr at best. The leasing manager is unknowledgable, demeaning, and just plain rude. The complex is more centered on getting money from residents and not making any improvements to the complex itself. Fecal matter in washing machines and management/ cleaning staff does nothing. Building is more than 17 years old with no renovations and there is only a minimum of 1 (you heard it) 1 maintenance person for 149 units. Apartments are extremely small. Bathrooms are located right at the front door of every apartment... so close that one can touch the front door from the toilet. Carpet is old and dated. The building has a musty smell most days. Extermination...that is laughable...but is most definitely needed in almost all units I am sure! People die in the units and are not found until a week later! There was a horrible smell and management could not figure out where it was coming from until they realized that one of the "beloved" seniors had expired in their apartment home a week prior. Roaches, Rodents, Fleas, Bed Bugs.
