Review

Sterling House of Fond Du Lac has proven to be a Godsend for both my mom and my family. With both my parents in need of care, the facility offered a respite care service for my mom when she could no longer stay with my dad during his rehabilitation from multiple surgeries. The staff at Sterling House have truly been exceptional, providing compassionate and attentive care to my mom. For the first time in a long time, she is actually enjoying herself.

When we first arrived at Sterling House, we were struck by its small and dark appearance. However, we soon realized that this did not reflect the warm and inviting atmosphere inside. The facility boasts a registered nurse on duty at all times, ensuring the health and well-being of the residents. Additionally, they offer a unique financial concierge service that takes care of selling your house and setting up a payment plan from that to alleviate any financial concerns.

During my mom's month-long rehabilitation stay, we were highly satisfied with the level of care provided by the staff at Sterling House. They were incredibly nice and caring, making sure my mom felt comfortable and engaged in various activities available. The rooms and surroundings were also pleasant, creating a homey environment for the residents. The only complaint my mom had was regarding the food, which she wasn't particularly pleased with.

Recently, my elderly mother-in-law was searching for a new place that would provide a senior-friendly environment without being a nursing home. This led us to Sterling House of Fond Du Lac. From the moment we walked through the front door, we were greeted with warm hellos and smiles from both staff and residents alike. The facility truly understands what it means to embrace leisure during one's twilight years. They offer a wide range of programs including exercise regimens, guest lectures, gardening activities, and unique games tailored towards seniors' interests.

The dedication to resident satisfaction extends beyond just activities in this facility. The staff maintains constant communication with families to address any current issues concerning their loved ones. The amenities and facilities at Sterling House are top-notch, providing a comfortable and enjoyable living environment. Having visited multiple times, I can confidently say that I have not witnessed any negative experiences. The food quality is exceptional, with every resident provided with delicious meals. Overall, I highly recommend Sterling House for anyone looking for a nice place for their elderly loved ones.

When we first arrived at Sterling House of Fond du Lac assisted living facility to search for a new home for our aunt, we were immediately struck by its charming and homey atmosphere. The well-maintained grounds offered plenty of space for residents to engage in outdoor activities such as cookouts, parties, and picnics while enjoying easy access and safety.

Inside the facility, the foyer was fresh and bright, decorated with tasteful furniture that created a welcoming ambiance. All the indoor rooms were filled with natural light and fresh air, adorned with cheery yet soothing colors that added to the overall comfort of the residents. The rooms were beautifully decorated and furnished with ample space.

The activity rooms provided seniors with comfortable furniture where they could socialize, make crafts, play games or even watch TV. A variety of stimulating activities were available to keep them engaged and entertained throughout the day. Additionally, seniors had access to an exercise room where they could participate in daily walks or attend yoga and aerobics classes.

Sterling House of Fond Du Lac also emphasizes community engagement by organizing regular trips to visit local restaurants and cultural events in the surrounding area. This allows residents to maintain an active social life while experiencing all that Fond Du Lac has to offer.

The dining room was another highlight of the facility with its beautiful decor and healthy food options available on the menu catering to all diet types. Snacks were readily available throughout the day upon request from residents. Not only did the food look appetizing but it also smelled delightful, ensuring a pleasant dining experience for all.

In terms of private living spaces, Sterling House provided residents with ample space in well-decorated surroundings that allowed for natural light and fresh air to flow freely. The comfortable furniture added to the overall coziness, making it truly feel like home. Most importantly, the residents appeared content and engaged with their environment, thanks to the kind and caring staff who made sure their needs were met.
