The staff needs to be taught how to care for hospice patients. The day shift never checked on the mom; food was left for others to feed her. They would enter, say she is breathing, and then walk out without turning her or checking if she was wet. Hospice tried to call to give meds, but no one answered the phone. The manager claimed they never checked on her. If possible, zero stars would be given for the facility. Workers do not change residents' briefs, hardly ever preventing sores. Staff sit in the office and talk all day. One worker didn't wear shoes. Dogs roam around the building and drink out of kitchen dishes. Cleaning is not thorough. They do not pay attention to residents and what they have in their rooms that they shouldn't. The facility is extremely short-staffed. When a fire alarm went off, staff didn't help handicapped residents out of the building. The building had a fire (or had had a fire) in the past. Do not send loved ones here.
