The staff at HRP is friendly and caring. The director of nursing at HRP is great to work with. The facility at Healthcare Resort of Plano is clean and well-maintained. The staff at the healthcare resort treats residents like family. The therapy team at the healthcare resort is top-notch. The outpatient therapy at the facility is excellent. The staff at the facility are attentive and address concerns promptly. The food provided at the assisted living side of the facility is impressive. The therapy team at HRP helped a reviewer regain their strength after surgery. The nursing team at HRP made a reviewer feel safe and worry-free during their stay.
The Assisted Living side felt a little dark. HRP should have called mom’s insurance company, reported her injuries and requested that her coverage be extended so she could heal. Instead, they discharged her. Mom ended up back in the hospital for a second time. I'm so very sorry to this day that I let my mother into this HORRIBLE, UNORGANIZED, NON CARING, NEGLECTFUL, RUDE, UNATTENTIVE, MISGUIDED, UNPROFESSIONAL, NONRESPONSIVE, FACILITY!!!!! THIS FACILITY NEGLECTED MY MOTHER'S MEDICAL NEEDS. WHEN I PICKED UP MY MOM, SHE WAS DIRTY, SMELLY, HER HAIR WAS VERY MATTED, VERY SICK, AND CLEARLY NEGLECTED!!! Don't let the reviews, the appearance of the facility, and the untruths told by the administration fool you!! My mom had to choose between multiple facilities when she was discharged from the hospital and this one was on the list. So glad she chose it.The Healthcare Resort of Plano is a facility that offers both assisted living and short-term rehabilitation services.
