The staff at NHC are kind, supportive, and helpful in every aspect of care. The professionalism at NHC is stellar. Desiree, Yolanda, Crystal, and Kacy provided compassionate care during recovery. All staff were extremely personable, professional, and friendly. Desiree the Social Worker was always available to help and was friendly. The facility is among the best in the CSRA area. CNAs and nurses have worked extremely hard to keep patients' spirits uplifted during the pandemic. The staff consistently show patience and keep smiles on their faces.
They administer sleepy medications to elderly residents every day to calm the entire facility. The management is terrible and they do not take good care of residents. It needs to do better and treat residents as if they were their own parents or loved ones. The facility feels uncaring, and the staff do not pay attention to details. It is a horrible place to place a loved one and does not deserve even one star. They sedate patients during the day and lie to families so they don't come up there to check. The facility is chronically understaffed, causing long delays for bathroom assistance and other care. Inside the rooms are filthy and the food is not nutritious or consistently available.
