The staff are easy to contact and very responsive. The admissions process moves quickly. The building is attractive with tree-lined grounds and a wrap-around porch. The meals are very good. The facility is clean and the staff are nice; residents seem content. The community is warm, caring, and not fancy but excellent.

There are multiple psych patients who get physical with other residents and no activities to keep anyone stimulated. There are no meal options for diabetics, and dinners are served late, leaving residents without a meal for over 15 hours. Patients have stolen from residents, begged for money, and threatened them if money wasn't given. The nursing staff isn't always there; at times no one is watching the patients. The inside of the building is horrible, despite the nice neighborhood. They never accurately checked for a pulse when a resident died. The apology offered was insincere and did not feel genuine. The place feels dark and dismal with a pervasive urine odor, and residents were not engaged in activities or with each other.
