The new director is beyond unprofessional. Lack of staff is a huge issue here. The person that we met there was extremely helpful and gave us a lot of good information about the facility. We had multiple attempts to reconcile a balance due and it was never resolved. I was never told Covid was present when my husband was accepted at Simpson Meadows. They consider themselves a nursing home and are in total lockdown during Covid-19. Something seemed off here. The next level of care has very few spots & a long waiting list. Personal care area felt worn & didn't like how it smelled. The memory care residents seemed sad & listless.Simpson Meadows Retirement Community has received mixed reviews from residents and their families.
