The people, both staff and residents, are welcoming, informative and interesting. Country House offers top-notch services, amenities, programs and facilities. Country House has much to offer and goes out of its way to inform and educate visitors researching CCRC communities. The staff are professional, knowledgeable and polite. The colors are accurate and the quality is good. It is a beautiful place and is expanding. A wonderful home for seniors. The Brandywine Pops Orchestra is hosted there and residents are appreciative.
The facility has mice and roaches. A caller could not reach the main telephone switchboard for three days, and a staff member refused to connect them and hung up. For the money spent, the draperies should have at least been steamed. Installers arrived without a material steamer and claimed wrinkles would fall out in about a week. Since being sold and rebranded, it seems more like a cattle yard than the excellent caring place it once was.
