Review

When it comes to finding the perfect place for Mom, it's essential to consider all aspects. However, during a recent visit to a potential residence, it became clear that it may not be the ideal choice. Director Paul greeted us warmly but left a less than desirable impression with his dirty jeans. While our initial thoughts centered around cleanliness, we soon realized that the whole place was in desperate need of updates.

Despite an outward appearance of cleanliness, the facility was lacking in several aspects. The outdated condition of the building became evident as we explored further. It quickly became apparent that this location had been long neglected and was crying out for some much-needed attention. From worn-out carpets to dated furniture, the overall atmosphere did not convey a sense of comfort or care.

One area that particularly stood out was the yard and patio space off the bedrooms. It was nothing short of a mess. Overgrown plants and unkempt grass made it difficult to envision this area as a peaceful retreat for residents. It was clear that maintenance had been disregarded for quite some time in this space. We couldn't help but wonder how well they would tend to other vital areas if they hadn't prioritized such a visible aspect like the outdoor living area.

Throughout our visit, we couldn't escape the feeling that this facility was stuck in another era. The lack of updates and modernization gave off an air of stagnation. From faded wallpaper to threadbare curtains, every corner seemed frozen in time. These outdated features only served to remind us that progress and improvement had been sorely neglected here.

Although first impressions may not always tell the full story, there were noticeable red flags during our tour led by Director Paul himself. While his warm greeting initially put us at ease, his unkempt appearance left us with doubts about his attention to detail and professionalism. After all, if someone responsible for overseeing the care and well-being of residents can't be bothered with their own appearance, it raises concerns about their dedication to maintaining a high standard of living for the residents.

In conclusion, our visit to this potential residence for Mom left us with reservations. The overall cleanliness and upkeep of the facility were lacking, and the need for crucial updates was undeniable. The messy yard and patio area further highlighted the neglect that had been allowed to persist. In addition, Director Paul's less than professional appearance raised concerns about the level of care provided within these walls. While it is important to approach reviews with honesty and faithfulness, it is difficult to overlook the numerous drawbacks we encountered during our tour. We ultimately felt that this particular place may not provide the best environment for Mom's needs.
