The staff at Maple Pointe Assisted Living is super helpful and the location is premier. The tour experience at Maple Pointe was great and the staff did a really great job. The executive director and her staff at Maple Pointe are like a second family, always willing to help solve problems. Residents at Maple Pointe feel safe and happy, with constant activities provided and a caring staff. Maple Pointe has provided a safe and happy home for residents, even during challenging times like COVID-19. The facility at Maple Pointe is clean and well-kept, with knowledgeable and friendly staff members. The amenities and services at Maple Pointe are excellent, with good food options and consistent staffing. Many residents enjoy the activities and sense of community at Maple Pointe, finding it to be a wonderful facility.
Some of the staff is really nice while others are terribly nasty and it's unclear why they are allowed to keep their jobs. The food is poorly prepared and often too small portions, so many residents are forced to pay for delivery on their own from local venues. It just did not seem as clean as other communities we had toured. There was an odor during the visit, which was not a recurring issue but still a negative experience. A lot of these places are very understaffed, and it's uncertain if that's the case with Maple Pointe. Seemed pushy. The person who showed me around was also very understanding. Her room was devoid of all valuable items.
