The food at the Maine Manor Assisted Living was definitely good. The community is clean and the staff is really friendly. Very clean and caring to their residents and above all very welcoming and equipped. The owner of the facility came to our home, sat down, spoke with us, met with my mother, and evaluated her level of care.
The staff at Maine Manor Assisted Living was sometimes hard to reach. They made excuses and did not provide activities for the residents. They moved a resident without approval and valuable items went missing. The owner got angry when asked about a care plan and moved the father out during a pandemic. The community did not have enough private rooms on the first floor.Maine Manor Assisted Living has received mixed reviews from residents and their families. While the food is praised as being good, there are concerns about the lack of activities for residents. Despite having mostly independent individuals in the community, the staff did not provide any activities or make efforts to engage the residents.
One reviewer mentioned that they chose this facility for their father because of the bright and spacious front room. However, they were disappointed when their father was moved to a smaller, darker room without any consultation. Additionally, valuable jewelry and heirlooms went missing during his stay at Maine Manor Assisted Living.
