Having lived here since its opening over four and a half years ago, it is disheartening to witness the deterioration of a building that was once celebrated for its modern charm and amenities. Initially, the environment was vibrant and well-maintained, reflecting a commitment to residents’ comfort and satisfaction. Fast forward to today, however, and it is clear that the property is showing significant signs of neglect. The former allure has given way to a sense of wear and tear that inevitably comes with mismanagement or indifference from ownership.

    While it’s important to acknowledge that management remains proactive and genuinely caring towards the residents, there seems to be a disconnect when it comes to the owners' priorities. These millionaires seem detached from their investment in this community; they have continuously raised rental rates while simultaneously providing less in terms of upkeep and available amenities. This imbalance has created frustration among residents who feel they are paying more for a declining standard of living. Complaints about maintenance issues have frequently been raised but appear to be met with minimal action or response from ownership.

    The maintenance team responsible for lawn care has changed in its approach over time as well. Previously known for their thoroughness, they now perform only the bare minimum tasks required to keep the grounds functional. After numerous complaints from residents about large weeds overtaking flower beds—some growing as tall as four feet—there was finally some action taken: these weeds were pulled out, and some pine straw was laid down in the front area. While this gesture was appreciated, much work remains undone elsewhere within the community grounds.

    Particularly distressing is the state of the backyard area surrounding what would otherwise be considered an idyllic pool setting. With heavily neglected flower beds showcasing dead shrubs interspersed between clumps of dirt mixed with construction debris from five years ago, one can only describe this area as reminiscent of a poorly managed landscape in dire need of attention. Although efforts have been made recently by yard workers—like removing dead plants—this part of the property still lacks adequate care or aesthetic improvement. Without proper landscaping or maintenance interventions, it’s hard for residents to see past what could have been an inviting retreat into their outdoor spaces.

    In contrast to these concerns regarding physical upkeep are positive sentiments surrounding community staff at Fairfield Manor—a property that runs independently yet shares similarities with where other residents may live. Staff members are consistently described as friendly and helpful; they work diligently to maintain cleanliness throughout common areas while ensuring resident interactions remain positive experiences.
