Desert Highlands' administrative staff bent over backwards to help move a family member, and the two weeks there brought remarkable improvement. The staff is caring and very helpful, making a positive impact on residents and families. A beautiful Mother's Day luncheon was hosted and enjoyed by the family. The Admissions Director took the time to answer questions and give a tour, helping to make the best choice. The facility is clean and welcoming, with staff who are friendly and supportive. Nurses and staff were kind and concerned about care up to discharge. Families praised friendly staff, good food, and a great environment.
The staff here are ridiculously rude and lack care and respect. The facility is not clean and fails to maintain basic standards. They lost my wife's clothes and medicine and did not replace them. There is little to no supervision of patients and staff; care is inconsistent. It's a horrible facility full of neglectful employees. The front office staff are deplorable. They released a resident with possible COVID, risking others.
