The mom is the happiest she has been in months and the care she received is wonderful. Joni and Katie are amazing, and the aides and nurses are caring and helpful. Everyone has been kind, caring, and compassionate. The facility is clean, friendly, welcoming, and great. The food is excellent and the cooks are the best. The therapy team is outstanding. The administrator and the director of nursing are amazing leaders. Avon Place is absolutely amazing: the staff are caring, the rooms are spacious, and the building is spotless.
They released a patient who is 75 and disabled to his car, knowing full well he did not have anywhere to go. The nurse did nothing; said "that's what she always says." The facility can't prove when she had broken ribs and it could've been any time within the past 2 weeks. If she had broken ribs for 2 weeks and it went unnoticed? Horrible facility; they do not take care of their patients. They never respond to their patients' call buttons, they leave them to sit in their rooms, and leave dry feces all around them. In addition, they said they would duct tape the patient's mouth because she needed help.
