The place is run more like a lemonade stand than a professional, state-licensed agency. The facility is filthy, with dirty rooms, floors and dining room. It is the worst healthcare facility in Topeka, KS by far. CNAs have no passion or care for residents. There was never enough supply to care for residents. Some nurses are allowed to work that don't do treatments as ordered. The dining room is always filthy. Staff are consistently not held accountable for insubordination toward nurses and management. There are no activities for residents, and med errors are not reported as they should be. HIPAA violations are witnessed daily, with staff smoking marijuana in the parking lot while on the clock. The facility employs anyone who walks in the door. An overpowering odor hits you upon walking in. Mice and roaches are seen daily. Residents don't have hot water or access to their bathrooms. People who gave 5 stars are people who work there. This place doesn't even deserve 1 star.
