Review

Two years ago, I had the privilege of staying at this beautiful facility for long-term care after undergoing extensive surgery. From the moment I arrived, it was evident that they had taken great care to ensure that both the inside and outside of the building were stunning. The recent total uplift they did on everything, including redoing all the flooring, made it a truly exceptional place to be. What impressed me the most was the genuine compassion and dedication of the staff towards the residents. They were incredibly attentive and knowledgeable about each individual's daily activities and would readily provide updates when family members called to check in.

The food at this facility was outstanding. The kitchen staff not only focused on meeting nutritional needs but also went above and beyond to accommodate personal preferences. For example, if someone wanted fried eggs instead of scrambled for breakfast, they would do their best to make it happen. The level of cleanliness and organization within the facility was impressive considering it was an older building. The dining room especially stood out as a welcoming and well-maintained space.

Activities at this facility were plentiful and varied, ensuring residents always had something engaging to look forward to. Karaoke sessions every other week added excitement, while bingo games provided entertainment for those who enjoyed it. Singers would frequently come in to entertain us, and we even had weekly church services featuring two different churches. Additionally, there were opportunities to go shopping or catch a movie once a week – an excellent way to stay connected with the outside world.

While my overall experience was positive, there were some inconsistencies with staffing quality at times. While some staff members genuinely cared about their work and demonstrated professionalism, others appeared less committed. Despite this challenge, physical therapy services at the facility proved effective as they helped my husband regain his mobility after his surgery.

In my personal experience with this facility through my grandmother's stay here, I can confidently say that she received exceptional care throughout her time there. The staff members were always kind and attentive, making sure my grandmother felt valued and content. She frequently engaged with them in conversation and developed strong relationships. Participating in the daily activities offered at the facility – such as concerts, bingo games, and guest speaker events – brought her great joy. One of her favorite outings was going shopping with her friends from the facility.

The meals provided at this facility were always a highlight for my grandmother. She consistently regarded the food as delicious, and I can vouch for its quality based on my own experience dining with her. The building itself was maintained to a high standard of cleanliness, creating a comfortable environment for residents. Various communication methods were also readily available to ensure ease of contact if needed.

Overall, I am extremely satisfied with the care that was provided at this facility. The combination of attentive staff, engaging activities, delicious food, and well-maintained premises made it an excellent choice for both short-term rehabilitation and long-term care needs. While there may have been occasional issues with staff dynamics or limitations in personal-geared activities, these concerns did not overshadow the overall positive experience we had here.
