The owner, management, and staff are highly regarded for truly caring about residents. The facility is updated, cozy, and clean. There are always fun and engaging activities planned for residents. The environment is wonderful and the food is amazing. The staff are exceptionally attentive and caring. At Home Again-Rio is a great, family-friendly facility that engages with the community and cares for residents. The ownership is strong, with friendly and caring staff. Alexandra is phenomenal in caring for residents. The facility feels like a home with private suites and personalized touches. Family visits are welcomed and easy, allowing loved ones to stay connected. The staff go above and beyond to enrich residents' lives. The rooms are spacious, meals homemade and delicious, and live music is enjoyed.
Majority of staff is young and inexperienced and when they are incapable of handling a situation, they blame it on the resident. Administrators are unprofessional, inappropriate, and rude. They had COVID issues and refused to provide COVID testing for residents when requested. They issued a 30 day notice, but then went out of their way to make the process of moving to a new facility very difficult. When they became aware that we were looking for new placement, they sold the room before we had a new facility lined up. Because they prematurely sold the room, they aggressively tried to push us into a facility that did not fit our needs so that they could get the new person in.There is a shared sense among families and residents that At Home Again Rio is more than a place to live; it feels like a warm, well-managed community where care, comfort, and connection are the guiding principles.
