Review

Our family is deeply grateful for the outstanding care provided to my mother-in-law Kathryn Totten during her time at Lavender Fields. From our first visit, we knew this was the perfect place to care for our loved one. The alignment between our hopes for her care and what Lavender Fields offered was immediate and reassuring, setting the tone for a positive and peaceful experience during a difficult time.

Entering the front door, you get a sense of stepping into a home rather than a clinical facility. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming from the moment you arrive, which made a real difference in how we approached each visit and interaction. This isn't just a building; it feels like a living space designed for comfort, connection, and everyday ease.

The layout of the common areas reinforces that home-like feel. On one side, there are comfy couches and recliners scattered about, each adorned with pillows and throws that invite you to sit a while, relax, and chat. On the other side, two large farm-style dining tables anchor the space, suggesting meals and conversations shared together in a familial setting. This balance of cozy seating and communal dining areas contributes to a sense of normalcy and warmth that eased our visits.

Private rooms are set up and decorated much like bedrooms in a home, further enhancing the feeling of familiarity and comfort for our loved one. The attention to decor and personal touches helps residents feel seen and cared for, rather than housed in a generic institutional environment. It's clear that thought was given to making spaces feel intimate and personal.

Judi and Brett have created such a comfortable environment that it was always a pleasure to go and visit. Their leadership and touch permeate the entire place, making every visit more about connection and companionship than about logistics alone. Judi, Brett, nurse Becky, and the rest of the staff are amazing people who bring warmth, professionalism, and a genuine sense of care to their roles.

I have visited Lavender Fields a few times and can attest that the owner and caregivers are wonderful. Their commitment to offering a supportive, attentive, and respectful environment shines through in every interaction. This combination of heartfelt care and welcoming surroundings makes a meaningful difference for families navigating the care journey.

Overall, Lavender Fields stands out as a place where residents are treated with kindness and dignity, and where family members feel assured that their loved ones are in capable, compassionate hands. For anyone seeking a supportive, home-like setting for a family member in need of care, this location comes highly recommended.
