Merciful Hand Assisted Living is an awesome place for loved ones. Merciful Assisted Living is a nice place for people to be, more like a home. Merciful Hands Assisted is a great place to be, with well-experienced staff who show passion in caring for the residents. The staff are respectful and professional. The facility is well established and professionally operated. The owners are God-fearing and highly accommodating, treating residents with humane care. There are many fun activities for residents.
The facility served horrible canned food, leaving residents hungry daily. Residents rarely have ice in their drinks. Residents are humiliated when they complain or ask for anything different. Residents are scolded if they voice any concern. Staff took pictures of residents' soiled diapers and sent them to the owner, who humiliated the resident and scolded them for making a big mess. The owner claimed the incidents never happened and called the resident a liar. Residents never see a doctor and are never weighed. Menus or facility paperwork are never provided. Staff encourage delaying fluid intake before bed because residents won't be changed until the next morning. If a family member gets sick, they do not call to inform them. The owner said it is completely normal for a resident to go to hospital and be transferred from ER directly to ICU.
