The staff greeted Meg by name, smiled, spoke softly about her, and expressed happiness that she was in their care. Eric, the maintenance man, helped with move-in tasks, hung up curtains, set up cable, and reassured the family that Meg was in good hands. Linda manages the day shift and guided the family to Meg. Lisa, the hospice nurse, introduced herself and spoke kindly to Meg in her wheelchair. Every staff member the visitors met was kind.
