The main administrator was the nicest, most caring, and most encouraging woman the reviewer ever met. The CNAs at night were amazing caregivers for the resident. The staff are kind, courteous, and follow through on what they say they'll do. The facility offers a wonderful, homelike environment with an enclosed courtyard and access to fresh air. Nurse aides are very attentive and kind, making residents feel like family. The building is clean and feels like a home setting, with a caring atmosphere. A resident calls it the best nursing facility they've ever lived in and would recommend it to others.
The facility is an old, dirty place that smells awful. The nursing staff were horrible (except for two people). The day aides were very rude to the resident, with one tossing her call button and hitting her in the face. It is not a retirement home as advertised. The facility is severely understaffed and overworked; evenings and weekends are rude and inattentive. Personal belongings, including dentures, were lost.
