The night shift team on Woodview is awesome and ensures nights run smoothly. The staff is caring and helpful, and it’s comforting to be near nursing care. Residents enjoy the presentations and concerts at Bethany. Residents have made wonderful friends and enjoy fun activities. Bethany Village maintains an unequaled level of quality of care through the continuum of aging. The staff are very professional, genuine, and kind. Bethany Village is absolutely beautiful. The staff are friendly, the facility is clean, it smells good, and the food is outstanding.
Lower employee pay doesn’t help morale. Many employees have a very negative attitude toward Bethany and don’t feel appreciated. The nursing director Lauren has a horrible attitude. Having 50 residents with one nurse is ridiculous. The facility is grossly overpriced and poorly run. The staff refuses to acknowledge the resident’s power of attorney over healthcare. The care provided includes a wound infection, COVID, and very little physical therapy, and nurses acted put upon when questioned. Day-to-day food is not edible. There is frequent miscommunication and a lack of accountability among staff.
