The complex was very nice. Everyone was very friendly. It is a beautiful place with nice people. It is a great place. It has lots going on, with friendly people. It is close to everything yet quietly settled back from the busy streets in a parklike setting. There are bingo, games, cards and special events, and outings away from the Manor. It is a very social place.
Management does not enforce the no-smoking rule. The apartment smelled like an ashtray after a new resident started smoking. Management is not helpful in addressing the smoking issue. It is not worth the reviewer's health to stay there. They feel SEM does not care about residents. An application was not mailed promptly, and staff blamed the post office. Long-time residents were told they would get a one-bedroom within a year, but now only new applicants are offered one-bedrooms, which is not fair.
