The nursing director and medical director took no responsibility in the fact that the patient developed 2 separate bed sores (stage 4) and that she lost 30 pounds in under 2 months. I think the medical care is reactive and not proactive. It is so sad to see her debilitated so fast when it didn't need to happen if there was responsible care. The only problem is the staff does not seem to care very much about the patients under their care. I have seen this problem in almost any nursing home I have been in.National Church Residences Chillicothe seems to be a popular choice for seniors and their families in the area. Although it was more expensive, unfortunately, there were no openings at the time of their visit.
