The staff across all roles treated residents with kindness, care, and attentiveness. The team on Skilled Nursing E2 and Rehab Sandstone was exceptional and supportive in healing. The Director of Nursing, Unit Manager, Physician Assistant, nurses, aides, therapists, social worker, and housekeepers all showed kindness and attentiveness. The facility is beautiful, very clean, and held to high standards of care. The therapy program is among the best and highly recommended by many who experienced it. Willow Care staff feel like a family, always ready to help and resolve concerns. Amherst Manor staff are friendly, professional, and highly capable, making care feel reliable for families. The rehabilitation staff are amazing and dedicated to patient progress. The private rooms are bright and cheerful, with private baths and garden access, and the staff are accommodating even when short-staffed.
There is not enough staff or nurses, and the good ones are fired. The chairs are gross, stained, worn out, and broken; the IV stands are disgusting with slimy stuff on them; the beds are worn out. Medications aren't given on a regular basis as prescribed because there aren't enough nurses, so patients get them early or late often. They denied my mom an ambulance, and she left with bed sores and a C-diff infection. The facility takes little to no care for patients: wheelchair waits of 45 minutes, and call lights go unanswered.
