Review

In my mother's brief stay at this facility, I couldn't help but be impressed by its cleanliness. The facility was immaculate, with staff members dedicated to maintaining a spotless environment. The actual owner of the facility was also very kind and approachable, which brought me some comfort during this difficult time.

However, circumstances beyond our control necessitated a move for my mom. Despite her departure, the owner assured me that improvements would be made. I can only hope and pray that these promised changes will come to fruition.

One of the main areas where improvement is needed is in terms of activities for the residents. During my mother's time there, she did not have access to any organized or structured forms of entertainment or engagement. This lack of stimulation surely affected her overall well-being and quality of life.

Moreover, there were several issues with basic amenities in the facility. There was no hot water available in the sink of the communal bathroom throughout my mother's stay. This inconvenience may seem minor, but it can greatly impact residents' daily routines and personal care.

Another concerning factor was the facility's failure to adhere to their posted menu. It is crucial for senior care facilities to provide nutritious and balanced meals for their residents as part of their overall health management. Deviating from the planned menu without valid reasons raises questions about the reliability and commitment of those responsible for providing adequate nourishment.

Additionally, an annoying yet distressing problem persisted during my visits - a smoke detector repeatedly beeping due to low battery alert. The sound became increasingly disruptive and alarming over time, causing unnecessary stress and discomfort for both residents and visitors alike.

Fortunately, it seems that changes have been implemented since my mother left this facility. From what I've gathered, there has been a significant turnover in staff members which could potentially bring about positive enhancements in various aspects of care.

Overall, it is essential for this facility to address these existing shortcomings promptly and sincerely commit to the promised improvements. Only by doing so can they truly provide an optimal living environment for their residents, ensuring their safety, comfort, and overall well-being.
