    Review

Chilton Family Care Home welcomed my best friend on December 31, 2018, and since then the care she has received has been exceptional. Under the leadership of Leslie, who is both an RN and the owner, and a small team of CNAs, the home has a calming atmosphere that feels tailored to her needs. With only 3-5 workers on most days, they know her needs and moods well, and they respond with extra empathy and compassion on the days she needs it most.

The setting itself feels truly like a family care home. Leslie's close-knit team creates a familiar, supportive environment where residents aren't just cared for - they're cared about. The compact staff size fosters consistent, personalized attention, allowing caregivers to attune themselves to each resident's rhythms and preferences. In this space, care feels intimate, thoughtful, and genuinely compassionate.

A distinctive and heartwarming aspect of Chilton Family Care is the involvement of Leslie's four girls, ages 5 to 11. They regularly take time to be with the residents, offering warmth and engagement that resonates deeply on days when an extra dose of love is needed. The presence of children in the home adds an extra measure of care and kindness, contributing to the sense that this is a true family setting rather than a traditional care facility.

Meals at Chilton Family Care are a highlight, described as wonderful and home-cooked. Special appreciation goes to Mary Ellen for the nourishing fare that sustains residents with comforting, familiar flavors. There's also a delightful routine on Tuesdays when they order from the Mayflower, bringing a special treat with a variety of seafood dishes that residents look forward to.

Heartfelt appreciation is expressed repeatedly for the Chilton family and all team members. Phrases like "Thank You for You" and "Thank You for Caring" reflect the genuine gratitude from families who have witnessed the daily dedication and kindness extended to their loved ones. These expressions of appreciation underscore the warm, appreciative culture that pervades the home.

The care extended to my dad has been equally notable. He has been treated like family, with Leslie and her staff going above and beyond to ensure he has everything he wants and needs. The property itself is immaculately clean; I have never seen this place anything less than spotless, a testament to the high standards maintained by the team.

Overall, Chilton Family Care Home stands out for its blend of professional, compassionate care and a genuine family atmosphere. The small, dedicated staff, the warmth of the home environment, the engaging presence of the children, the home-cooked meals with thoughtful extras, and the pristine cleanliness all combine to create a setting where residents feel valued, safe, and well cared for. For families seeking attentive, heartfelt care delivered with dignity and respect, this home consistently delivers.
