    Review

We've been very pleased with the Extended Family service so far. The caregivers they've sent have consistently been friendly, attentive, and hard-working. When we needed help quickly, they were accommodating and moved to get the service started as soon as we required. Our overall experience has been very positive, and we would definitely recommend Extended Family to other families looking into this kind of support.

A notable part of our experience has been the teamwork and continuity. The nurse often accompanied the home health aide on several occasions to make sure everything was going smoothly and to help out so the aide could manage the care effectively. We've mostly had the same caregiver, which fostered trust and familiarity, and when our regular person couldn't make it, the nurse joined the substitute to ensure everything stayed on track. I can't think of anything that wasn't done extremely well.

This pattern of nurse involvement offered an extra layer of reassurance and a smoother operation overall. The presence of the nurse alongside the aide helped address questions promptly, and the consistent staffing helped us feel confident in the care our loved one was receiving. It wasn't just about performing tasks; it was about making sure the approach remained cohesive and supportive, even when changes had to happen.

Of course, the cost is a consideration - care is always expensive - but the services meet our requirements. The team has supported activities that fit our routines, including taking us shopping and going for walks. These practical, everyday actions matter a lot, and the caregivers have been able to incorporate them into the care plan in a way that feels natural and effective. This balance between generosity of service and financial reality is an important part of our overall experience.

The staff members stand out as personable and relatable, showing responsiveness to the various idiosyncrasies of their clients and patients. This personalized approach has made a meaningful difference in how comfortable we feel with the care plan and how well our loved one adapts to the routine. The combination of warmth, reliability, and attentiveness has contributed to a sense of security and trust that we value highly.

All told, the Extended Family service has delivered a level of care that supports both practical needs and emotional well-being. The quick response when we first reached out, the ongoing dedication of the caregivers, and the nurse-led supervision when needed have created a cohesive, dependable support system. Given how well it has worked for us, we would encourage other families to consider this service as a strong option for in-home care that emphasizes continuity, responsiveness, and genuine care. We're grateful for the care we've received and look forward to continuing with Extended Family.
