    Review

This place was horrible from the moment I arrived after my accident, and the ordeal dragged on for a full week. What should have been a routine period of recovery quickly drained into a surreal experience of neglect and frustration. The overall impression was of a facility that cared little for comfort or safety, leaving me to endure unnecessary discomfort during a vulnerable time.

The most troubling part of my stay was the persistent failure to respond to the call lights. I lived with the constant doubt that someone would come when I needed help, and in too many moments, they did not. It felt like silence and delay were the standard operating procedure, rather than an exception. This lack of timely assistance created a sense of insecurity and made every routine task - like getting out of bed, adjusting position, or asking for basic care - feel uncertain and perilous.

Medications were another chronic problem. They were not given on time, and that inconsistency had real implications for my health and comfort. Waiting for essential medicines - pain relief, post-accident medications, or routine prescriptions - was an ongoing source of frustration and worry. The delays weren't just annoying; they disrupted my recovery process and added stress during a time when steady care mattered most.

Temperature control in the rooms was bizarre and uncomfortable. It seemed the rooms were kept at the outside temperature, apparently to save on heating or cooling costs. This left me shivering at times or baking at others, never quite able to settle into a comfortable, conducive environment for healing. The lack of climate control felt like yet another form of neglect, compounding the physical and emotional strain of being hospitalized.

Food service completed the negative picture. I was not fed enough, and when meals did arrive, they were frequently late and ice cold. The combination of insufficient quantity and poor quality made nutrition feel like an afterthought rather than a priority. In a setting where proper nourishment is essential for recovery, this mismanagement was a persistent and demoralizing setback.

The absence of management and severe understaffing framed every other problem. It was clear that leadership was not present, which in turn left the staff overwhelmed and unable to provide reliable care. Without adequate supervision and sufficient personnel, basic patient needs went unmet, and the overall experience was characterized by inconsistency and neglect.

Taken together, the experience felt like a systemic failure rather than a series of isolated incidents. The daily reality was marked by delays, discomfort, and a pervasive sense that patient well-being was not the primary concern. If someone asked me for my honest recommendation, I would not wish this place on my worst enemy; the combination of unresponsiveness, delayed medications, uncomfortable rooms, poor meals, and a lack of leadership painted a bleak picture of care and safety.
