The food is great, and the coffee is excellent. The administration cares deeply and is readily available to support residents and families. Residents are engaged and happy, with plenty of activities and events. Front desk staff are welcoming and friendly from the moment you arrive. The building is brand new and absolutely beautiful. The community is clean, with a friendly, welcoming atmosphere. LyfeSpark amenities and meal packages help take some of the burden off families. The ribbon-cutting ceremony is adorable and clever for new residents. The team at Round Lake Senior Living is simply the best.
The food is not good. Half of the staff are awesome, the other half are just there for the paycheck. It feels like a scam: too expensive and they take advantage of the elderly with poor family communication. They tried to triple mom's rent after dad passed away, with no extra services and no warning. They are understaffed and the food is terrible for what they charge.
