On the first night, poop was on the wall near a resident's face, and people would pee on the floor with no one cleaning it. The staff ripped the phone cord from the wall and prevented residents from using the phone, blocking 911 calls. The workers were not nice, often screaming at residents, and the owner was described in the same way. Medications were doubled or given to the wrong people, with ongoing errors in administration. The environment was deemed deplorable, to the point that residents called it a "damn to hell home." After moving in, the resident received an eviction notice labeling them a troublemaker and stating they had days to adjust. Staff did not admit mistakes about medications and accused the resident of lying when questioned. There was no one to contact when the owner was away, and phone calls went unanswered.I lived there for about a month and quickly realized I had walked into something far worse than I could have imagined. On the second day, I fell and broke my hip, and when I asked the staff to call 911, they wouldn't. I wheeled my wheelchair to the phone and tried to call myself, but they ripped the phone cord out of the wall and insisted I could not use the phone. The place felt more like a prison dungeon than a living space, and there was no running water in the bathroom to wash up. We had to fill a gallon bucket from the kitchen just to rinse off.
