Review

Assurance Elder Care is a remarkable residential home that provides exceptional care for its residents. With only five or six residents, the staff is able to give personalized attention to each individual, ensuring they are well cared for, well fed, and monitored through cameras in the common areas. The home boasts a beautiful sun room adorned with an impressive collection of 40 plants, creating a serene and vibrant atmosphere. What's more, my mother enjoys the luxury of a private room for the same price as a shared one.

One aspect that sets Assurance Elder Care apart is the staff's dedication to interacting with the residents. They go above and beyond to foster a warm and engaging environment. Being just two miles away from our house is an added bonus; it makes visiting convenient for us as a family. I often bring activities for my mom, and sometimes other residents join in. Additionally, there are puzzles and games available for those who are interested.

Aside from the wonderful care provided by Assurance Elder Care's staff, I have also noticed that families of most residents are attentive and involved. They frequently bring in activities such as making Valentines or art supplies, watch movies with their loved ones, or take them out for meals. This collective effort creates an inclusive and nurturing community.

The physical accommodations offered by Assurance Elder Care are exceptional as well. The spacious layout allows ample room for residents to move around freely. There are various adaptive features like bathroom rails, lowered tubs/showers, and walkers available to enhance mobility and safety. Moreover, the cleanliness of the facility is impeccable, ensuring a pleasant living environment.

During my visit to Assurance Elder Care, although they were not expecting me despite my prior appointment arrangement (which could be seen as a slight inconvenience), they were incredibly accommodating nonetheless. Their willingness to accommodate me on short notice demonstrated their commitment to providing excellent service.

While I had an overwhelmingly positive impression of Assurance Elder Care during my visit, there was one minor concern. I noticed two patients sleeping at the dining room table with a glass of water in front of them, while one patient was comfortably seated on the couch playing with her tablet. It would have been reassuring to see more attentiveness and activity from the staff during the evening hours.

In conclusion, Assurance Elder Care has exceeded my expectations as a residential home for elderly care. The compassionate and loving staff, coupled with the exceptional care provided to residents, make it an ideal choice for families seeking a nurturing environment for their loved ones. The facility's cleanliness, spaciousness, and adaptability further contribute to an outstanding living experience. While there may be room for improvement in terms of evening engagement, overall, Assurance Elder Care is undoubtedly a welcoming and reasonably priced home for seniors in need of care and support.
