Review

New Light RCFE is a pleasant and well-maintained facility that offers a clean and inviting atmosphere for its residents. During a tour of the premises, I found the home to be in good shape, which immediately created a positive impression. Moreover, the person guiding me during the tour was exceptional, providing valuable information and addressing all my concerns. However, despite these positive aspects, my mother's need for a larger facility ultimately led us to choose an alternative option.

One of the few drawbacks I noticed during my visit was the lack of activities offered at New Light RCFE. While the home appeared to have all the necessary amenities, there seemed to be limited engagement opportunities for the residents. Additionally, I observed that they did not actively encourage or facilitate exercise for their patients. In particular, my mother requires assistance when walking and unfortunately, this service was not provided consistently. However, recognizing this shortfall, I took it upon myself to accompany her during visits.

Despite these minor shortcomings regarding activities and exercise support, New Light RCFE excels in other areas. It is commendable that they are highly attentive to their residents' needs and ensure that assistance is readily available without any significant wait times. The staff are friendly and accommodating, which creates a warm and welcoming environment for both residents and visitors alike.

Furthermore, another aspect worth noting is that New Light RCFE had an available spot for my loved one when we needed it most. This prompt response demonstrated their commitment to providing timely care and alleviated much of our stress during this challenging decision-making process. Ultimately, we are content with our choice of selecting New Light RCFE as our preferred facility.

In conclusion, New Light RCFE offers a well-maintained and clean living environment with exceptional guidance from their staff members during tours. While there were some limitations in terms of activities provided by the facility as well as inconsistent support for exercise routines, these factors were outweighed by the prompt assistance and friendly atmosphere. Moreover, the availability of a spot when it was crucial for our loved one's well-being greatly influenced our decision to choose New Light RCFE. Despite its few faults, New Light RCFE remains a reputable choice for those seeking a comfortable assisted living facility.
