    Review

Across more than three decades as a mobile hairdresser visiting countless senior living residences, I've learned to recognize the places that truly stand out. Aurora and her entire team are among the very best I've seen. Their care is evident in every interaction with residents: they handle people with genuine kindness, treating each person as if they were a member of a close-knit family. The home itself reflects that spirit - spotlessly clean, inviting, and filled with the warmth of home-cooked meals that residents clearly enjoy.

Before discovering Aurora's place, I went through three emergency moves for my own parents, and those experiences were nothing short of awful. When my mom joined Aurora's care home, I could finally breathe again. My mother lived with dementia and could be difficult at times, yet the patience and the steady, compassionate care shown by Aurora and her staff were nothing short of remarkable. They give from the heart, meeting residents where they are and treating them as if they were family. They did everything possible to keep my mom comfortable and safe up until the day she passed away, and there are simply no words to express how grateful I am. I would recommend them so highly, and they will forever hold a special place in my heart and in the hearts of my siblings.

Aurora herself is described as wonderful, with a sentiment that there is a special place in heaven reserved for her. She and her entire team were loving and attentive, caring for my mom as if she were their own family member. Even though I lived a long way away - on a plane trip, in fact - I felt completely at ease knowing my mom was receiving excellent care while I was away. My mom had started with Aurora when she was still managing another facility before striking out to open her own home. When Aurora told me she was opening her own place, I scrambled to get my mom there, because I knew I'd found something special. If you're fortunate enough to secure an opening at her home, you've discovered not just good care but also real peace of mind for yourself.

Another perspective centers on the challenge of choosing a home for a loved one with Alzheimer's. It was a difficult decision, but Aurora and her staff's caring and loving approach helped ease my worries. Seeing the quality of care my mother received, in a setting described as family-friendly, reinforced my confidence in the choice. The consistent message across these experiences is clear: this is a place where residents are treated with dignity, kindness, and respect, and where families feel supported rather than stressed.

In short, what stands out across these experiences is a consistent character: good people, great staff, and good homemade food within a family-like environment. The sense of trust that comes from a staff who truly treats residents as if they were their own family is undeniable, and the endorsements speak for themselves. I would not hesitate to recommend this home to anyone seeking compassionate, attentive care for a loved one.

Taken together, the impressions paint a picture of a home where care is more than a job - it's a calling. Cleanliness, nourishment through homemade meals, and an atmosphere that feels like home combine with patient, heart-centered caregiving to create something rare and valuable. For families navigating the difficult decisions surrounding eldercare, especially when Alzheimer's or dementia is involved, Aurora and her team offer not only expert care but also the reassurance and peace of mind that comes from knowing your loved one is cherished and well looked after.
