Another alarming incident involved the neglect of a patient who was unable to move or reposition herself due to an MS diagnosis. Despite informing the nurse about the need for regular turning every two hours, the individual's mother was left in the same position for over twelve hours. Furthermore, another individual shared their husband's experience at Heritage where he stayed for rehabilitation. During his eleven-day stay, he never received a shower despite suffering from incontinence. It took constant complaints and raising hell with the administrator before he was finally given a shower. The facility also lost his laundry for nearly two weeks due to negligence in tagging it properly. Medication distribution was also handled carelessly by CNAs instead of trained med passers.
